| dc.description | The objective of the research was to evaluate the effect of fungicides on the control of peanut rust (Nothopassalora personata). The experiment was conducted at the Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López experimental campus, located in Calceta, Manabí, Ecuador. The following treatments were tested in a single application: T1) Carbendazim (3ml/L), T2) Trifloxystrobin + Tebuconazole (3ml/L), T3) Copper sulfate pentahydrate (3ml/L), T4) Difenoconazole (2ml/L), T5) Chlorothalonil (3ml/L), T6) Azoxystrobin + Tridemorph (3ml/L), and T7) an untreated control. The application was made 90 days after sowing, with evaluations performed 15 and 30 days before the application and 8 and 15 days afterward. These evaluations considered the incidence (percentage of affected leaflets) and total severity (percentage of affected leaf area). The variables measured included plant height, number of branches, severity and incidence of peanut rust, pods per plant, weight of 100 grains, total weight of peanut pods (quintals/hectare), and total grain weight (quintals/hectare). Data were analyzed using ANOVA, with means separation conducted using Tukey's test (α = 0.05). The variance analysis showed no significant differences between the treatments, including the control, either in disease severity or productivity. In conclusion, a single fungicide application was not effective in controlling peanut rust, and a higher number of fungicide applications is recommended for better control. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El objetivo de la investigación fue evaluar el efecto de los fungicidas en el control de la viruela del maní (Nothopassalora personata). El experimento se desarrolló en el campus experimental de la Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López ubicada en Calceta, Manabí, Ecuador. Se probaron los siguientes tratamientos en una sola aplicación: T1) Carbendazim (3ml/L), T2) Trifloxystrobin + Tebuconazole (3ml/L), T3) Sulfato de cobre pentahidratado (3ml/L), T4) Difenoconazole (2ml/L), T5) Clorotalonil(3ml/L), T6) Azoxystrobin + Tridemorph (3ml/L), T7) Testigo sin tratar. La aplicación se la ejecutó a los 90 dds, y las evaluaciones se realizaron a los 15 y 30 días antes de la aplicación, y a los 8 y 15 días después de la aplicación, considerando su incidencia (% de folíolos afectados) y severidad total (% de área foliar afectada). En las que se registraron variables como altura de planta, número de ramas, severidad e incidencia de la viruela del maní, vainas/planta, peso de 100 granos(g), peso total del maní en vainas(q/ha), peso total de granos(q/ha). Los datos fueron analizados a través del ANOVA, la separación de medias se las efectuó con prueba de Tukey (α = 0.05). En el análisis de varianza los tratamientos incluido el testigo no fueron influenciados significativamente tanto en la severidad de la enfermedad como productivamente. Para concluir, se ha demostrado que no es favorable realizar una sola aplicación de los fungicidas para pretender controlar la viruela del maní, por lo que se debería realizar un número superior de aplicaciones de fungicidas. | es_ES |
