Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad diagnosticar los factores socioeconómicos de la comunidad rural Mocochal, del cantón Bolívar, durante el período 2023, donde se abordó el estudio de la problemática para cumplir con los objetivos planteados. Es por ello, que para el alcance de la investigación se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo, cuantitativo y mixto. Igualmente, para sustentar el trabajo se realizó una indagación descriptiva, bibliográfica y de campo, la misma que permitió alcanzar los resultados. Posteriormente, se incorporó los métodos: inductivo, deductivo y analítico-sintético, además, para la recopilación de información se aplicaron las técnicas: entrevista al presidente de la comunidad rural Mocochal y las encuestas a los habitantes de la misma, éstas fueron organizadas y aprobadas para seguir con el proceso respectivo. Es preciso señalar, que las herramientas que se manipularon fueron muy exactas y precisas, puesto que permitieron la recolección de datos reales acerca de las ineficiencias de los factores sociales y económicos como: el acceso a los servicios básicos, ingreso económico, falta de empleo, mala calidad de la carretera; educación, puesto que solo hay una escuela; asimismo referente a la salud, no hay una casa de atención. Cabe mencionar, que se diseñó un plan de acción que ayudará a fortalecer las falencias que existen en los factores socioeconómicos de la comunidad Mocochal. Por lo que se sintetiza, que es necesario e importante la aplicación de acciones de mejoras enfocadas en el desarrollo económico y social, que se adapten a las necesidades específicas de la comunidad.

The purpose of this research was to diagnose the socioeconomic factors of the rural community Mocochal, in Bolívar canton, during the period 2023, where the study of the problem was addressed to meet the stated objectives. For this reason, a qualitative, quantitative and mixed approach was used for the scope of the research. Likewise, to support the work, a descriptive, bibliographic and field investigation was carried out, which allowed the results to be achieved. Subsequently, the methods were incorporated: inductive, deductive and analytical-synthetic, in addition, for the collection of information the techniques were applied: interview with the president of the rural community Mocochal and surveys of its inhabitants, these were organized and approved to continue with the respective process. It should be noted that the tools that were manipulated were very exact and precise, since they allowed the collection of real data about the inefficiencies of social and economic factors such as: access to basic services, economic income, lack of employment, poor road quality; education, since there is only one school; likewise regarding health, there is no care home. It is worth mentioning that an action plan was designed that will help strengthen the shortcomings that exist in the socioeconomic factors of the Mocochal community. Therefore, it is summarized that it is necessary and important to apply improvement actions focused on economic and social development, which adapt to the specific needs of the community.
