| dc.description | This research was conducted at the Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí “Manuel Félix López,” located in El Limón, Calceta, Manabí province, with the aim of evaluating the effect of an artisanal biofertilizer (biol) on the growth and forage yield of cut grass. The study demonstrated that the application of biol, both to the soil and as a foliar spray, had a positive and significant effect on the crop’s morphophysiological variables, notably plant height, leaf area, and dry biomass. The highest doses (80% and 100% for soil application, and 80 mL/L and 100 mL/L for foliar application) achieved the best performance, approaching the results obtained with chemical fertilization, demonstrating that biol is a sustainable and efficient alternative. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación desarrollado en la Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí “Manuel Félix López”, ubicada en el sitio El Limón, Calceta, provincia de Manabí, con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto de un biofertilizante artesanal (biol) en el crecimiento y rendimiento forrajero del pasto de corte, demostrando que la aplicación de biol, tanto al suelo como de manera foliar, ejerció un efecto positivo y significativo sobre variables morfofisiológicas del cultivo, destacando la altura de las plantas, el área foliar y la biomasa seca. Las dosis más altas (80% y 100% en aplicación al suelo, y 80 mL/L-1 y 100 mL/L-1 en aplicación foliar) alcanzaron los mejores rendimientos, acercándose de forma notable a los obtenidos con la fertilización química, demostrando ser una alternativa sostenible y eficiente. | es_ES |
