| dc.description | The objective of the research was to design the tourist zoning that allows the sustainable development of the natural and cultural resources of the Santa Ana Bio Corridor. A methodological procedure was structured based on the bibliographic review of various research papers in three phases: Legal framework, situational diagnosis and guidelines for zoning. The results obtained in the investigation allowed to determine the tourism potential of the Biocorredor, identifying 21 natural and cultural tourist resources, which constitute the main strength of the area. On the other hand, there is a legal and regulatory basis in the Santa Ana canton that supports the development of tourism zoning. As a result of the determination of the guidelines, three zones were identified: environmental recovery zone, sustainable use zone, and public use zone. These areas are based on the criteria: ecological, zoning, historical and physical. The development of each zone will have a regulation of sustainable use, as well as visitor behavior and activities to be developed by the population, with the purpose of obtaining economic and environmental benefits as a result of the application of responsible tourism. Finally, the investigation showed that the Biocorredor de Santa Ana is a territory that has diverse resources, and of relevant potential, as well as the human talent necessary to generate sustainable development. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La investigación tuvo como objetivo de estudio diseñar la zonificación turística que permita fomentar el desarrollo sostenible de los recursos naturales y culturales del Biocorredor Santa Ana. Se estructuró un procedimiento metodológico en función de la revisión bibliográfica de diversos trabajos investigativos en tres fases: Marco legal, diagnóstico situacional y lineamientos para la zonificación. Los resultados obtenidos en la investigación permitieron determinar la potencialidad turística del Biocorredor, identificando 21 recursos turísticos naturales y culturales, los cuales se constituyen en la principal fortaleza del área. Por otra parte, existe un fundamento legal y normativo en el cantón Santa Ana que sustenta el desarrollo de la zonificación turística. Como resultado de la determinación de los lineamientos, se identificaron tres zonas: zona de recuperación ambiental, zona de uso sostenible, y zona de uso público. Dichas zonas, se encuentran fundamentadas en los criterios: ecológico, zonificación, histórico y físico. Para el uso sostenible se establecen normas y políticas de uso. Finalmente, la investigación demostró que el Biocorredor de Santa Ana es un territorio que posee diversos recursos, y de una relevante potencialidad, así como el talento humano necesario para generar un desarrollo sostenible. | es_ES |
