| dc.description | The objective of this research was to determine the academic and bipsychological profile of students entering the undergraduate degrees of Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López, April – 2018 / March-2019. The methodology used was the field and documentary research through the instruments of the interview and survey, information collection, tabulation and analysis were facilitated too; the survey was applied to a total of 821 students and the interview to the eight career directors: Agribusiness, Veterinary Medicine, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Tourism, Computing, Business Administration and Public Administration. The statistical software SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) in version 25 was used to process quantitative data, in addition to the help of deductive, inductive and analytical-synthetic methods, an exhaustive analysis of academic and biopsychological factors was achieved. that have an impact on students' personal and professional training, an improvement plan was subsequently designed with support and accompaniment strategies that contribute to improving the retention rate, reducing attrition and increasing the degree rate. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar el perfil académico y bipsicológico de los estudiantes que ingresan a las carreras de grado de la Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López, Abril–2018/Marzo-2019. La metodología utilizada fue la investigación de campo y documental y por medio de los instrumentos de la entrevista y encuesta se facilitaron la recolección, tabulación y análisis de la información; la encuesta se aplicó a un total de 821 estudiantes y la entrevista a los ocho directores de carrera: Agroindustria, Medicina Veterinaria, Ingeniería Ambiental, Ingeniería Agrícola, Turismo, Computación, Administración de Empresas y Administración Pública. Se utilizó el Software estadístico SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) en su versión 25 para procesar los datos cuantitativos, además con la ayuda de los métodos deductivo, inductivo y analítico-sintético se logró realizar un análisis exhaustivo a los factores académicos y biopsicológicos que repercuten en la formación personal y profesional de los estudiantes, posteriormente se diseñó un plan de mejoras con estrategias de apoyo y acompañamiento que contribuyen a mejorar la tasa de retención, disminuir la deserción e incrementar la tasa de titulación. | es_ES |
