Descripción : The objective of this research was to evaluate the incidence of the use of different reflective materials in the energy efficiency of solar ovens, this research was carried out in Calceta city in the lands of the Environmental Engineering career, two designs of solar ovens were elaborated: one box and one parabolic based on three types of materials (aluminum, mylar and glass) with a total of six treatments. According to the data recorded at the ESPAM MFL weather station, the hours of greatest incidence of solar radiation (heliophany) were determined, the temperature was measured by means of a digital thermometer at 30 minute intervals with pre-established schedules from the 11:30 to 2:30 p.m., during the working days of the month of September; Once the results were obtained, they were entered into the Statgraphics Centurion database, where the data was processed according to the results obtained in the investigation, so according with the aforementioned, the alternative hypothesis is accepted, since there are significant differences between the treatments, and it was determined that the T4 (glass-oven box) reached an efficiency of 34.18%, the T6 (mylar-oven box) an efficiency of 34.09%, while the T5 (aluminum-oven box) obtained an efficiency of 31.71%.
