Resumen : El objetivo de esta investigación fue diseñar productos turísticos alternativos que fomenten la economía de los habitantes en los humedales de Manabí, la metodología utilizada es mixta, en el desarrollo metodológico se definen métodos y herramientas investigativas validadas en la literatura, en su primera fase se inicia con un diagnóstico turístico para evaluar la situación actual y el estado de la gestión turística de los actores y gestores como segunda fase se propuso un estudio de mercado, mediante una encuesta se identifica los factores determinantes de consumo de productos turísticos, los métodos estadísticos permitieron la identificación del perfil de cliente, para determinar qué tipo de target llega a este sitio por medio del estudio de mercado. Como tercera y última fase se procedió a realizar el diseño de productos turísticos y definir las estrategias de promoción y comercialización de esta ruta turística con el fin de crear un producto que logre cubrir la demanda y satisfacer las necesidades de los potenciales usuarios o clientes que visitaran estos humedales. Se identificaron dos segmentos de mercado: gastronómico y/o familiar; y sol y playa y naturaleza, estos productos turísticos tienen actividades como senderismos dentro de los humedales, observación de aves, degustación de gastronomía típica de la campiña Manabita, entre otros. Los canales de distribución y comercialización que se utilizaran son redes sociales, pagina web, trípticos de información en agencia de viajes y hoteles, además que los precios van desde $50 a $100 lo cual se puede adaptar a la necesidad de los turistas.

Two market segments were identified: gastronomic and / or family; and sun and beach and nature, these tourist products have activities such as hiking in the wetlands, bird watching, tasting typical cuisine of the Manabita countryside, among others. The distribution and marketing channels used are social networks, a website, information brochures in travel agencies and hotels, in addition to prices ranging from $ 50 to $ 100, which can be adapted to the needs of tourists.
