dc.description	The relationship between the hydrological protection and the vegetation cover of the sub-basin of the Carrizal river was determined by calculating the Hydrological Protection Index (HPI). For this, information was collected about the activities carried out in the Chone Multiple Purpose project to evaluate the influence of the activities on the environmental components through the Buroz methodology. It established 28 sampling points based on the plant units that make up the micro-basin in the years 2008 and 2015. At each point transepts were developed. Finally, the methodology established by Rojas (2004) was used to calculate the Hydrological Protection Index. According to the Buroz analysis, the activity that generated high impacts on the greatest number of components was the agroforestry development of buffer zones. It should be noted that this activity was not carried out by the construction personnel. In the micro basin of Rio Grande there are 9 types of vegetation cover according to the information obtained from the National Information System, when comparing the HPI (0,649) of Río Grande micro basin before the construction of the dam (2008) with the IPH (0.549) after its construction (2015), it can be observed that there is variation between the hydrological protection indexes presenting a regular condition, which allowed concluding that it possesses a protection capacity without the need of implementing measures of plant regeneration.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Se determinó la relación entre la protección hidrológica y la cobertura vegetal de la subcuenca hidrográfica del Carrizal, mediante el cálculo del Índice de Protección Hidrológica (IPH). Para esto, se recopiló información acerca de las actividades realizadas en el proyecto Propósito Múltiple Chone para evaluar la influencia de las actividades sobre los componentes ambientales a través de la metodología de Buroz. Se estableció 28 puntos de muestreo basados en las unidades vegetales que conforman la microcuenca en los años 2008 y 2015. En cada punto se elaboró transeptos. Finalmente, para el cálculo del Índice de Protección Hidrológico se utilizó la metodología establecida por Rojas (2004). Según el análisis de Buroz la actividad que generó impactos altos sobre el mayor número de componentes fue el desarrollo agroforestal de zonas de amortiguamiento, cabe recalcar que mencionada actividad no fue ejecutada por el personal de obra. En la microcuenca del río Grande existen 9 tipos de cobertura vegetal de acuerdo a la información obtenida del Sistema Nacional de Información, Al comparar el IPH (0,649) de la microcuenca del río Grande antes de la construcción de la represa (2008) con el IPH (0,549) después de su construcción (2015), se puede observar que existe variación entre los índices de protección hidrológico presentando una condición regular, lo que permitió concluir que posee una aptitud de protección sin necesidad de implementación de medidas de regeneración vegetal.	es_ES
