dc.description | The objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of GnRH application in anestrus Nelore cows subjected to fixed-time artificial insemination on reproductive parameters. The experimental units (N=54) were Nelore cows, physiologically in anestrus, with calf at foot, 90 days postpartum and body condition between 2.5 and 3. They were divided into two groups: 27 cows received 2,5 ml of GnRH at the time of IATF and 27 did not receive GnRH addition. The data were processed with the statistical programs Infostat (2020) and SAS (Statistical Analysis System). The ovulatory follicle obtained an average follicular diameter of 11.99 mm in cows in the treatment group, evidencing significant differences (p<0.01) in relation to the control group, which resulted in an average of 11.13 mm. There was no statistical difference (p>0.05) in the ovulation rate. Regarding the conception rate, the group with GnRH achieved 37% and the group without GnRH 30%, without showing significant differences (p>0.05). It is concluded that the application of GnRH at the time of IATF increased the conception rate compared to the group that did not receive gonadotropin. | es_ES |
| es_ES |
