dc.description	The main function of the study was to combat Microfilariae in positive dogs from rural areas. The evaluation of the effect of Milbemycin Oxime and Ivermectin in canines allowed us to analyze the effectiveness of these drugs and determine which of them performs the best function. The methodology used in this assessment was the statistical bibliographic method and the inductive and intuitive method; and techniques such as observation through the WOO test, being a conventional examination, where microfilariae are observed. For this investigation, 30 positive canines were selected, 3ml of blood was taken from each individual to assess their hemoparasite load. All positive patients in the sampling from day one were given orally two treatments T1 Milbemycin Oxime and T2 Ivermectin. This process was carried out on four occasions to observe its evolution, and were completed on day one, four, 14 and 29. It is important to mention that the Chi x2 technique was used, which made a comparison between the identified variables that allowed us to know the degree of influence that these have within the object of study; and significant differences were found in favor of the effect of Milbemycin Oxime on Dirofilaria on day 14 with p value <0.0324 and on day 29 p value <0.0443. Treatment with Ivermectin had lower efficacy and there were no significant differences.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El objeto de estudio tuvo como principal función combatir las Microfilarias en perros positivos de zonas rurales. La evaluación del efecto de Milbemicina Oxima e Ivermectina en caninos, permitió analizar la eficacia de estos fármacos y determinar cuál de ellos cumple una mejor función. La metodología que se utilizó en esta valoración fueron el método bibliográfico estadístico y método inductivo e intuitivo; y técnicas como la observación mediante el test de WOO, siendo un examen de convencional, donde las microfilarias se observan, para esta investigación fueron seleccionados 30 caninos positivos, se tomó 3ml de sangre de cada individuo para valorar su carga hemoparasitaria. A todos los pacientes positivos en el muestreo desde el día uno se les suministro por vía oral dos tratamientos T1 Milbemicina Oxima y T2 Ivermectina. Este proceso se realizó en cuatro ocasiones para observar su evolución, y se cumplieron el día uno, cuatro, 14 y 29. Es importante mencionar que se utilizó la técnica del Chi x2, que realizó una comparación entre las variables identificadas que permitió conocer el grado de influencia que éstas tienen dentro del objeto de estudio; y se halló diferencias significativas a favor del efecto de la Milbemicina Oxima sobre la Dirofilaria en el día 14 con p valor<0.0324 y al día 29 p valor <0.0443. El tratamiento con Ivermectina tuvo una eficacia inferior y no existió diferencias significativas.	es_ES
