| Resumen : | Los pasivos ambientales puntuales en el cauce de un río suponen un riesgo en los ecosistemas acuáticos y las comunidades que dependen de ellos. El objetivo principal del estudio fue identificar y evaluar los pasivos ambientales asociados a las actividades antrópicas en el cauce del río Carrizal, comunidad Bachillero-Puerto Larrea. La investigación se dividió en tres fases: primero se diagnosticó del área de estudio, realizando el reconocimiento y recopilando información con el fin de elaborar cartografía temática. En la segunda fase se identificaron y evaluaron los pasivos ambientales puntuales de acuerdo a su importancia y grado de afectación, adicionalmente se caracterizó el agua del cauce para determinar su calidad. En la tercera fase se definieron estrategias para prevención y mitigación de los pasivos ambientales para su eliminación o mitigación. Se determinó que el área de estudio presenta geomorfologías como llanuras litorales y penillanuras, y usos de suelos diversos que incluye áreas destinadas a actividades agropecuarias, agrícolas y mixtas, así como también áreas acuícolas y pecuarias. Los pasivos ambientales identificados en el cauce del río fueron: efluentes de agua residual doméstica, cultivos, actividades ganaderas y aguas residuales de camaroneras. Los parámetros analizados que sobrepasaron los límites permisibles fueron la turbidez y la presencia de aceites en el agua. Los impactos ambientales en el área de estudio causados por las actividades antropogénicas, tienen un impacto en la calidad del agua, se necesitan estrategias de gestión, métodos agrícolas respetuosos con el medio ambiente y leyes estrictas para proteger los recursos hídricos. |
| Descripción : | Environmental liabilities in a riverbed pose a risk to aquatic ecosystems and the communities that depend on them. The main objective of the study was to identify and evaluate the environmental liabilities associated with anthropic activities in the Carrizal riverbed, Bachillero-Puerto Larrea community. The research was divided into three phases: first, the study area was diagnosed, reconnaissance was carried out and information was collected in order to prepare thematic cartography. In the second phase, the environmental liabilities were identified and evaluated according to their importance and degree of affectation, and the water of the riverbed was also characterized to determine its quality. In the third phase, strategies for prevention and mitigation of environmental liabilities were defined for their elimination or mitigation. It was determined that the study area has geomorphologies such as coastal plains and peneplains, and diverse land uses that include areas used for agricultural and mixed activities, as well as aquaculture and livestock farming. The environmental liabilities identified in the riverbed were: domestic wastewater effluents, crops, livestock activities, and shrimp farm wastewater. The parameters analyzed that exceeded the permissible limits were turbidity and the presence of oils in the water. The environmental impacts caused in the study area are caused by anthropogenic activities have an impact on water quality, management strategies, environmentally friendly agricultural methods and strict laws are needed to protect water resources. |
