Resumen : La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo diseñar un plan de ordenamiento turístico para el desarrollo de las parroquias rurales Convento y Chibunga del cantón Chone, aplicando una metodología de tipo cualitativo con enfoque exploratorio descriptivo, este diseño se estructuró en cuatro fases donde en la primer fase se realizó un diagnóstico situacional estratégico de las parroquias de Convento y Chibunga, en la segunda fase se identificaron los principales características y sitios turísticos de la zona con la finalidad de medir la potencialidad turística del territorio. Dentro de la tercera fase se llevó a cabo un análisis multidimensional del área de estudio con la finalidad de conocer las principales debilidades y problemáticas del sistema turístico. Por último, en la cuarta fase se permitió diseñar una estructura que permita la planificación turística del territorio con la visión de comercializar productos con identidad territorial. Entre los principales resultados de esta investigación se encuentra el estado actual de las parroquias en aspectos como servicios básicos y economía, en conjunto con la aplicación de la encuesta la cual determinó el interés de la población en desarrollar el turismo y conocer la relación entre comunidad y entes reguladores del territorio, las principales debilidades y problemáticas del sistema turístico se destaca la limitada planificación y recursos económicos para el desarrollo de la actividad turística y la Insuficiencia de servicios básicos. El elemento clave de la propuesta es la comercialización de productos con identidad territorial que contribuyan al desarrollo local de las parroquias de Convento y Chibunga.
Descripción : The objective of this investigation was to design a tourism planning plan for the development of the rural parishes Convento and Chibunga in Chone canton, applying a qualitative methodology with a descriptive exploratory approach, this design was structured in four phases where in the first phase carried out a strategic situational diagnosis in Convento and Chibunga parishes, in the second phase the main characteristics and tourist sites of the area were identified in order to measure the tourist potential of the territory. Within the third phase, a multidimensional analysis of the study area was carried out in order to know the main weaknesses and problems of the tourism system. Finally, in the fourth phase it was possible to design a structure that allows the tourist planning of the territory with the vision of marketing products with territorial identity. Among the main results of this research is the current state of the parishes in aspects such as basic services and economy, together with the application of the survey which determined the interest of the population in developing tourism and knowing the relationship between community and regulatory entities of the territory, the main weaknesses and problems of the tourism system are the limited planning and economic resources for the development of tourism and the insufficiency of basic services. The key element of the proposal is the commercialization of products with territorial identity that contribute to the local development of the parishes of Convento and Chibunga.
