| Resumen : | Hay muchos factores que contribuyen al aumento de la Carga Mental y se deben a diferentes situaciones, siendo estos a los que se deben de prestar especial atención. Esta investigación tiene como propósito diagnosticar la Carga Mental de los servidores públicos del GAD del Cantón Sucre, periodo 2021, para la identificación de los factores que afectan el rendimiento laboral. Por lo que fue importante la aplicación de métodos de estudios como el inductivo, deductivo y el analítico-sintético, así como el uso de técnicas de investigación como la entrevista y encuesta. Además, la herramienta utilizada para medir la Carga Mental en los servidores públicos del GAD del cantón Sucre fue la Escala Subjetiva de Carga mental de trabajo (ESCAM) y a partir de estos resultados establecer estrategias que permitan contraer la Carga Mental que influye en el rendimiento laboral en el GAD municipal del cantón Sucre. Entre los resultados sobresalientes se pudo constatar que las causas de la Carga Mental de los servidores públicos del GAD del cantón Sucre, están en el factor 1 es decir, en las demandas cognitivas y complejidad de tarea puesto que una vez realizada la ponderación se pudo identificar que fue la que mayor puntuación obtuvo en la escala de Likert. Por lo que se recomienda que en cuanto a los factores identificados que causan la Carga Mental, es necesario que sean estudiados de manera más focalizada, para de esta manera corregir y aplicar herramientas útiles al puesto de trabajo. |
| Descripción : | There are many factors that contribute to the increase in mental load and are due to different situations, these being the ones that should be paid special attention to. The purpose of this research is to diagnose the mental load of the public servants of the GAD of the Sucre Canton, period 2021, for the identification of the factors that affect work performance. Therefore, the application of study methods such as inductive, deductive and analytical-synthetic, as well as the use of research techniques such as interviews and surveys, was important. In addition, the tool used to measure the mental load in the officials of the GAD in Sucre canton was the Subjective Scale of Mental Workload (ESCAM) and based on these results, establish strategies that allow contracting the mental load that influences work performance in the municipal GAD in Sucre canton. Among the outstanding results, it was found that the causes of the mental load of the public servants of the GAD in Sucre canton are in factor 1, that is, in the cognitive demands and task complexity, since once the weighting was carried out, it was possible to identify which was the one with the highest score on the Likert scale. Therefore, it is recommended that in terms of the identified factors that cause mental workload, it is necessary that they be studied in a more focused way, in order to correct and apply useful tools to the job. |
